NEMA Revises Enclosure Standards

Revised standard for electrical equipment enclosures features new test methods, protection requirements.

The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA), Rosslyn, VA, revised NEMA 250-2018 Enclosures for Electrical Equipment (1000 Volts Maximum), a standard that covers enclosures for electrical equipment used for non-hazardous (unclassified) locations and hazardous (classified) locations.
