EMCOR inks maintenance contract with U.S. Postal Service office

EMCOR Group Inc., Norwalk, Conn., has been awarded a contract to perform ongoing repairs to the interior and exterior of the United States Postal Service’s (USPS) 32,000 locations in the U.S., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

EMCOR Group Inc., Norwalk, Conn., has been awarded a contract to perform ongoing repairs to the interior and exterior of the United States Postal Service’s (USPS) 32,000 locations in the U.S., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The scope of work can include electrical, mechanical and plumbing repairs, as well as a range of handyman, general construction and interior/exterior maintenance and repair. Additional scope of work includes complete work order administration and management, 24/7/365 supplier management and emergency response, as well as Call Center support after-hours, weekends and holidays. Dan Rodstrom, president, EMCOR Facilities Services, said in a press release that EMCOR has been working with the Postal Service for the past nine years.
