WESCO wins 5-Year Cooperative Purchasing contract for MRO

WESCO International Inc., Pittsburgh, was awarded a five-year contract with The Cooperative Purchasing Network (TCPN) for MRO services and supplies. TCPN is a national governmental purchasing cooperative that has contracts with national vendors for such commonly purchased products and services as furniture, office supplies and equipment, security systems, technology, and other goods and services. The new contract, which went into effect April 1, significantly expands the number of products available through TCPN, and creates new opportunities for WESCO to work with a range of government related agencies, including K-12 schools, cities and municipalities, both private and state colleges and universities, private and charter schools, religious organizations and charities. In addition, TCPN members have access to WESCO’s Value Creation program, which helps organizations reduce supply chain costs, improve efficiencies, and achieve sustainability goals.
