CMC Announces Acquisition by Burndy

Burndy LLC and Burndy Canada Inc., affiliates of Hubbell Inc., Orange, Conn., have acquired Connector Manufacturing Co. (CMC) and Canadian Connector Corp. (CCC) respectively, and their Barfield products brand.

Burndy LLC and Burndy Canada Inc., affiliates of Hubbell Inc., Orange, Conn., have acquired Connector Manufacturing Co. (CMC) and Canadian Connector Corp. (CCC) respectively, and their Barfield products brand, according to a letter from CMC executives to customers that was posted on the NEMA websiteCMC and CCC will be subsidiaries of Burndy LLC and Burndy Canada Inc., and part of the Hubbell Connectors, Grounding and Tooling Group (HCGT).

"We at CMC are very happy and excited to become a part of the Hubbell organization," Nick Moraitis, CMC VP of sales and marketing, said in that letter. "We have joined a company that is a market leader with strong financial performance and shares our values for superior customer service and investment in leading product technology and innovation."
