May EPI Returns to More Moderate Increases

The May 2025 Total Electrical Price Index (EPI) saw aggregate price increases very close to historical averages, with a month-to-month (MTM) increase of +0.30% and a year-over-year (YOY) increase of +2.8%. The average MTM increase is +0.21% and the average YOY increase is +2.6%. However, several categories were well over those averages, including switchgear (+3.9% MTM and +11.2% YOY) and Panelboards & Switches (+11% YOY).
