You won't believe some year-over-year price increases in some key electrical products.

Electrical Marketing's Electrical Price Index (EPI) continued its surge in May, with a monthly change of +1.1% to 169.5 and a year-over-year (YOY) change of +11.7%. Thirteen of the 28 electrical product categories had a change of at least +1%, led by Boxes (+5.4%); Building Wire & Cable (+4.2%); and Pole-Line Hardware (+4.1%). The YOY increases were even more dramatic, with six products showing increases of more than +20%.
