Future Energy Solutions Secures Financing for Expansion
Lighting retrofit specialist Future Energy Solutions, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, secured a new round of financing to help it expand, according to a story in the SunSentinal. Orion Energy Partners, New York, agreed to provide $75 million in a debt-financed partnership that will allow privately owned Future Energy to significantly expand its presence in the U.S. market. The financing supplements existing financing by UK-based Matterhorn Capital and Stonegate Bank.
Future Energy designs and installs LED and induction lighting systems on a lighting-as-a-service (LaaS) model where customers pay no capital costs for their lighting systems but a monthly fee covers installation and maintenance of the system. Besides Ft. Lauderdale the company has offices in London and Sydney, Australia.
