National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) (Rosslyn, VA): Philip Squair has been picked to lead the association’s advocacy and lobbying initiatives. Formerly with the National Propane Gas Association, Squair is a seasoned association executive with expertise in policy, association governance, and staff leadership and development, NEMA said.
“Philip is a highly accomplished senior executive, and his experience in adjacent industries brings an invaluable perspective and sophisticated skills to advocate on behalf of electrical and medical imaging manufacturers,” says NEMA President and CEO Kevin Cosgriff. “We are very enthusiastic about him joining our team.”
Squair’s background also includes positions with the U.S. House of Representatives and the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute. Squair graduated cum laude from Hillsdale College with a bachelor of arts degree in political economics and history.
