Ed Crawford named president US Electrical Division & International Development for AD

Affiliated Distributors, Wayne, Pa.:Ed Crawford has been named president of the distributor buying/marketing group’s US Electrical Division and International Development. Crawford joins AD with over 20 years’ experience in the electrical industry, most recently as general manager and senior VP of the Professional Channel for Philips Lighting Americas. There, he drove integrated lighting solutions in the professional channel, with advanced, energy-efficient LED lighting technologies. Crawford began his Philips career in 1988 at the company’s Norelco division, then joined Philips Lighting in 1993 and proceeded to hold successive high-level commercial positions including VP of Strategic Marketing North America and general manager of Philips Lighting Canada. Crawford also served as CEO, Philips Light Sources and Electronics North America, responsible for all commercial activities for Philips lamp and ballast business in both the retail and professional channels.
