FSG (Austin, TX)
Victor Williams was promoted to chief operating officer of Services. He began his career with FSG 18 years ago as a service electrician in Arizona. While serving as service manager and branch manager, Williams was instrumental in building a thriving FSG operation in Arizona.
In 2015, he started an Facility Solutions Group branch in Florida. Just six months after opening, the Florida branch became profitable and has since grown steadily across the Southeast.
Mersen Electrical Power (Newburyport, MA)
Andrey Goreev joined Mersen as regional sales manager for the western Canada Region. He will report to Tom Arbanas, VP of Distribution Sales and Customer Care, Canada.
Goreev has more than 18 years of experience in industrial automation, control systems and strategic sales leadership across global markets. Most recently, he held the role of business development manager at Weidmüller Canada, where he led automation sales initiatives across western Canada, driving revenue growth, reducing sales cycle times and expanding into emerging sectors like renewable energy. Prior to that, he served in progressively senior roles within Weidmüller, including Major Projects & Key Accounts manager and industry manager for Power & Utilities in Russia.
His career began at Endress+Hauser, where he advanced from field sales engineer to regional sales manager, playing a key role in market expansion and managing high-value industrial clients.
Goreev holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Royal Roads University from Victoria, British Columbia, and a bachelor of engineering degree in Electrical Power Systems from South-Ural State University in Russia. He is taking over this role from Mark Lipton, who is retiring after 24 years of service, end of June 2025.
In other news at Mersen, Martin Fischer joined the company as a business development manager. He most recently worked at mdexx Magnetronic Devices GmbH, a German manufacturer, and has degrees from Technische Universität Ilmenau and Berufsakademie Eisenach.
Electrical Wholesalers Inc. (Middletown, CT)
Bryan Kinsner was promoted to director of construction, according to a company LinkedIn post. He began his career with Electrical Wholesalers as part of a training program and has since advanced through a variety of roles including counter sales in New Britain, project manager, switchgear quoting specialist, and outside sales.
Viking Electric/Sonepar (Minneapolis, MN):
The company has promoted Dean Dobitz to the position of VP-Sales. He brings 27 years of industry experience to the Viking Electric leadership team, including seven years as the company’s Twin Cities Industrial Sales Manager. Most recently, he served as VP-Industrial Sales, where he led the company’s industrial sales organization, which experienced significant sales growth under his leadership. In his new role, Dobitz will have responsibility for the entire sales organization as the company restructures the Viking Electric sales team.
M. K. Morse Co. (Canton, OH)
Lonnie Causer joined the company as technical sales representative, covering the states of California, Nevada, Washington and Oregon. He has nearly 30 years of experience in sales leadership; facility and equipment management; and training and safety enhancement across the industrial, manufacturing and construction sectors.
His hire comes after the promotion last month of Tim Lee to director, Industrial Sales, and the hiring of Crystal Jones as regional sales manager, West, in the Commercial Division.
Lee said in the press release, “At Morse, we are not just providing a band saw blade, we want to understand our customers’ overall businesses and how their sawing area fits into their operation. Having highly qualified field technicians is key to helping our customers become more profitable and separates us from our competitors.”
