Nora Lighting names Neda Farzan business development analyst

Neda Farzan has joined Nora Lighting as a business development analyst. Farzan, daughter of Nora Lighting founders Fred and Jilla Farzan, has an MBA from Columbia, and before that worked at Deloitte Consulting.

Nora Lighting (Commerce, Calif.): Neda Farzan has joined the company as a business development analyst. Farzan, who is the daughter of Nora Lighting founders Fred and Jilla Farzan, is currently completing a rotational program in all Nora Lighting departments to gain insights into corporate operations and the lighting industry.

“Neda has proven business skills and, obviously, a close connection with the lighting industry through professional and personal relationships,” said Fred Farzan, Nora president. “Her enthusiasm and fresh approach will be valuable assets as Nora Lighting continues to expand product lines and develops new markets.”

Neda Farzan recently completed an MBA at the Columbia Business School in New York City with a concentration on Operations Management and Family Business Management. Prior to Columbia, she worked at Deloitte Consulting in Los Angeles as a consultant, focusing on IT implementations. During her time at Deloitte she worked on projects in aerospace and defense, energy and high-tech industries. She has a BS in Business Administration and a minor in Sustainability Planning from the University of Southern California, where she was student body president during her senior year.
