Graybar opens new branch and reports sales up over 6%

Graybar, St. Louis, opened a new branch this week in Decatur, Ala. Part of Graybar’s Atlanta District and located at 3082 Finley Island Circle NW in Decatur, Ala., the facility will serve Morgan and Lawrence counties in Alabama. Counter Sales Manager Brad Pitts will lead the sales effort for Graybar. A grand opening celebration is planned for September.

In other news, employee-owned Graybar reported net sales of $1.5 billion for the second quarter of 2013, an increase of 6.3% compared to the same period in 2012. The company also reported $21.9 million in net income for the quarter, a 48.8% decrease from the same period last year.
