Cooper buys manufacturer of heavy-duty televisions for hazardous locations

Cooper Industries plc (CBE), Dublin, Ireland, signed a deal to buy Norway's Hernis Scan Systems AS, which makes closed-circuit television systems for use in harsh and hazardous conditions.
