An entrepreneur in Germany apparently has found a way around the European Union's ban on importing and distributing certain kinds of 75W and 100W incandescent lamps: By marketing them as small, ball-shaped space heaters! Ingenious? The first batch of 4,000, priced at 1.69 Euros (about $2.38) each, apparently sold out in three days.
