Scenes like this in my hometown of Waldwick, N.J., about 20 miles northwest of New York City are commonplace throughtout dozens if not hundreds of towns along the Eastern Seaboard.

It's the worst storm damage Waldwick has seen in at least 50 years. Gas is tough to get, and many of the stores in town are still without electricity. Can you believe the telephone pole shown in image #1 snapped in half??
