At  NEMRA’s recent meeting the association recognized several reps and manufacturers with its NEMMY Awards program. The 2023 Manufacturers Choice Award went to LEX Associates,  a rep based in Edison, NJ. The Partnership of the Year Award went to Yusen Associates and Maxlite and the Reps Choice Award went to RAB Lighting.


Arlington Industries presented its annual Sales Achievement and Salesperson of the Year awards at the  2024 NEMRA conference.


 Sales Achievement Awards: Power Tech Electrical Sales Inc., Irving, TX, received the National Sales Achievement Award; LP Chick Co., Louisville, KY, got the Central Region Sales Achievement Award; Pro-Lines Sales & Marketing, Kent, WA, won the Western Region Sales Achievement Award; and E-Tel Inc., Houston, claimed the Southern Region Sales Achievement Award. The Eastern Region Sales Achievement Award went to Holbrook-Associated Inc., Rockland, MD; and Mac’s II Agencies Ltd., Coquitlam, British Columbia, took home the Canadian Sales Achievement Award.


Salesperson of the Year: Lisa Lopez, Keyline Sales, Albuquerque, NM, received Arlington’s Inside Sales Person of the Year – given by Arlington’s customer service staff to the inside salesperson delivering the best performance at a firm representing Arlington.


At Hodges Southwest, Houston, Steve Meza joined the company as VP-Sales & Marketing. Meza has more than 20 years of Southwest region electrical agency, EPC and management experience to the company. He has an electrical engineering degree from the University of Houston and worked as an electrical designer for Fish/Technip Engineering early in his career. He previously was employed by two large reps based in Texas.
