ABB opens new Canadian HQ

ABB officially inaugurated its new $90 million state-of-the-art Canadian headquarters and Customer Innovation Center in Montreal, which will bring together 700 employees who were previously spread across six locations in greater Montreal.

ABB officially inaugurated its new $90 million state-of-the-art Canadian headquarters and Customer Innovation Center in Montreal, which will bring together 700 employees who were previously spread across six locations in greater Montreal. The new Campus Montreal houses ABB’s research and development, manufacturing, assembly and testing for ABB’s products.

The site’s Customer Innovation Center showcases ABB Ability, the company’s comprehensive digital offering, allowing collaboration with academic and research institutions. It also houses the new ABB North American Centre of Excellence in E-Mobility, which will support the development of energy-efficient transport networks, including electric buses and trains.
