Philadelphia Electric Association’s trade show draws nearly 3,000
The Philadelphia Electric Association’s Electric Expo 2013, held Oct. 23-24 at the Valley Forge Casino Resort, drew several thousand end users and dozens of exhibitors. Many of the Philadelphia area independent manufacturers’ reps who were manning the booths for their vendors were happy with the show traffic and said a big part of the success of this year’s show could be attributed to the 16 busloads of attendees that the area’s electrical distributors and the Philadelphia Electric Association brought to the show and the bus chartered by one of the area’s electrical contractors. Dwight Price, the Philadelphia Electric Expo’s executive director, said the show had 2,834 total attendees, including 772 exhibitors who worked the show’s 208 booths.
