Japan to grab giant share of global LED market, accourding to Toshiba exec

Toshiba expects Japan to take a commanding share of the global LED market according to a report in www.digitimes.com. The article says Tooru Shibuya, president and CEO, Toshiba Lightech, expects Japan to account for approximately 40% of the global LED market from 2012-2013 and says the compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of LED lighting globally will reach 31% by 2020. Toshiba first began producing LED lamps in 2009.
