Capital Lighting & Supply Promotes McGowan

Capital Lighting & Supply, an operating unit of Sonepar U.S.
(Alexandria, Va.) Tim McGowan has been promoted to vice president of corporate development. McGowan has served Capital Lighting & Supply in various capacities and has been responsible for creating many of the tools for the company’s internal communications and employee development. Some of his most notable recent accomplishments have been the development of Capital Lighting & Supply’s intranet, operations manual and training initiative. In his new role, McGowan’s responsibilities will include organizational development, including employee development, recruiting programs and process development; special projects, currently including the company’s new CDC and headquarters facility; and strategic vision.
