People On the Move - June 2026 Update

New appointments at Wesco and personnel news at SATCO.

Wesco International (Pittsburgh)

The company made two key appointments to its management team. Brian Soloway (in photo above) joined the company as VP of Sales for the Gulf region across the industrial, construction, OEM and engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) segments, and Jared Hoover has been appointed VP of Construction Solutions.
The company says Soloway’s appointment is critical to accelerating growth in one of Wesco’s most strategically important markets. He brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across industrial, automation, OEM and MRO environments, with a track record of running complex P&Ls, building scalable sales organizations and leading through transformation. Most recently, he served as VP of U.S. Sales for Rittal, an industrial automation business, where he led a national sales organization, owned a large P&L and worked closely with engineering and operations to drive growth through specification influence, channel strategy and execution discipline.
The Gulf region represents a significant growth opportunity for Wesco, with a disproportionate impact across national and global projects due to the concentration of EPCs, suppliers and customers. As the company continues to strengthen alignment, reduce complexity and sharpen execution in the region, Wesco said Soloway’s leadership will help drive disciplined profitable growth across all customer segments and strengthen supplier engagement and advocacy
In his new role, Hoover will oversee Wesco's construction solutions segment, focusing on enhancing sales, strengthening partnerships, and streamlining operations across multiple business segments. Prior to his current responsibilities, Hoover served as senior director of Sales and previously as director of Construction Lighting and Wesco Energy Solutions.
He has been responsible for advancing sales strategy, strengthening customer and vendor partnerships and improving operational discipline across the business, and has provided oversight across sales, marketing, budgeting, expense control, client communications, vendor relations, process management, industry research and ROI initiatives, while supporting multiple segments including construction, industrial, global and national accounts.

In other news at the company, Stacy Kemp  joined the company as regional sales manager for Georgia, Alabama, and Florida. With more than 20 years of experience in sales and regional channel management, SATCO says she has built a strong reputation across the Southeast for growing channel partnerships, developing key account, and driving specification in commercial lighting and that she brings deep industry knowledge across LED lamps, fixtures, energy efficiency, connected lighting, smart controls, and sustainability. Based in Atlanta, Kemp is widely recognized in the regional lighting community for her relationship-driven approach and her ability to deliver results across complex markets.
