EPI Maintains +2% YOY Pace in July

EPI July data shows a few notable pricing increases in some product categories.

Electrical Marketing’s Electrical Price Index had a relatively quiet July with a +0.3% increase over June, but posted another month of year-over-year growth in the 
+2% range with a +2.1% reading last month. Contributing to the increase were Conduit Fittings (+2.6%); Residential Lighting (+1.9%); Nonmetallic Conduit (+1.9%): and Pole-Line Hardware (+1.7%). Power Wire & Cable had the biggest decline at -2.9% in July.
