Quiet June for Electrical Price Index

Electrical Marketing’s Electrical Price Index showed no change in June from May and a +1.9% change year-over-year (YOY) from June 2018.

Electrical Marketing’s Electrical Price Index showed no change in June from May and a +1.9% change year-over-year (YOY) from June 2018. The only product categories showing increases of more than 1% were air conditioners (+1.3%); Circuit Breakers (+1.2%); Fasteners (+1.0%);  Conduit Fittings (-1.0%); and Power Wire & Cable (-1.1%). As you can see in the chart, quite a few categories are outpacing the Total Index YOY price increase of +1.9%.
