According to this Reuters report, researchers at Swansea University in Wales along with Tata Steel, an Indian steel manufacturer with $67.4 billion in sales, are coating steel sheets with photo-sensitive dye to generate electricity. Researchers believe these steel sheets can be used on cars to power on-board fuel cells and on , buildings to produce electricity.
