DLC Releases Draft Networked Lighting Control System Specifications

The Design Lights Consortium (DLC), New York, which among other things maintains a Qualified Products List (QPL) of solid-state lighting products and performance characteristics used by utilities in rebate programs and by specifiers and designers in selecting lighting, released a first draft “conceptual specification” detailing required features and attributes to be listed in a future DLC QPL for networked lighting control systems. Stakeholders have until Sept. 29 to provide their feedback and comments. DLC’s site www.designlights.org has more information.
