Halco announces new distribution center
Halco Lighting Technologies, Norcross, Ga., announced the opening of a new fully stocked distribution center in Carlstadt, N.J., to serve customers in the Northeast and surrounding areas. The new 43,000 sq. ft. facility opens its doors August 5 and will provide will-call service for local customers, same day delivery into metro New York City and next day delivery to most of the Northeast region.
“We are excited about this expansion and the improved delivery time it will provide to our customers in the Northeast and surrounding areas,” said Kim Cook, President & COO. “Halco remains committed to providing high service levels to our customers and a local presence will only strengthen this service.”
With same-day shipping for orders placed by 2:00 pm, the new facility allows next day delivery for customers located in New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont. In addition, courier service will be available for same day delivery within a 40-mile radius of the Carlstadt facility when orders are received by 11:00am.
The Carlstadt facility will carry Halco lamps and ballasts, as well as Sollos Landscape Lighting fixtures. The 2,700 sq. ft. office and showroom space will be utilized for hosting product demonstrations and events. With the addition of Carlstadt, Halco’s distribution center network will provide next day or same day service to over 85% of United States.
