GE wins 1 GW of U.S. wind orders

At the WindPower 2013 trade show, GE’s renewable energy business announced 1 GW of new U.S. wind turbine orders following the ruling of the production tax credit on Jan. 1. This equates to enough cleaner energy to power 330,000 U.S. homes and taking more than a million cars off the road.
