    HD Supply Inc., Atlanta, reported net sales for the fiscal 2012 second quarter of $2.1 billion, an increase of $184 million, or 9.8 percent, as compared to the second quarter of fiscal 2011. Gross profit for the second quarter of fiscal 2012 increased by $61 million, or 11.4 percent, to $594 million compared to $533 million for the second quarter of fiscal 2011. Gross profit for the second quarter of fiscal 2012 was 28.8 percent of net sales compared to 28.4 percent of net sales for the second quarter of fiscal 2011.
