Crescent Electric to Acquire Mesco Electrical Supply
Crescent Electric Supply Co., East Dubuque, IL, announced that it has signed an agreement to purchase Milford, OH-based Mesco Electrical Supply (Mesco). The move expands Crescent’s presence with two locations in the Cincinnati area and one in New Bremen, OH. The transaction is scheduled to close by January 1, 2017. Terms were not disclosed.
Founded in 1981, Mesco is an IMARK member with 19 employees and a recognized regional supplier serving residential contractors and industrial customers in central and southern Ohio. The company’s three locations (Milford, Cleves/Miamitown and New Bremen) will continue to operate with the same employee team and leadership as before, Crescent said in a release.
“We are thrilled at the opportunity to acquire Mesco, a company that shares our vision and dedication to the industry,” said Marty Burbridge, Crescent Electric president and CEO. “Under Crescent ownership, Mesco will continue to operate with the same employees, leadership team, suppliers and customers. We will leverage our companies’ respective strengths to grow our business in these key markets”.
