Caniff Electric Supply joins AD Electrical Division

Distributor buying/marketing group Affiliated Distributors (AD), Wayne, Pa., announced that Caniff Electric Supply Co., Inc., Hamtramck, Mich., has joined AD effective June 15. Caniff Electric Supply has been serving the electrical supply needs of the greater Detroit metropolitan area since 1982 with two locations in Hamtramck and Mt. Clemens, Mich. Caniff’s primary market consists of commercial and industrial customers.

Caniff has seen significant growth, particularly over the past two years, said Doug Bemis, president. “We have increased our staff by 20 people to help support our growing market and opened our first branch in Mt. Clemens, Mich., in May 2016. We are adding 12,000 sq. ft.  to our main office in Hamtramck.  The added resources AD gives us will enhance our service and marketing not only for our current customers, but future customers as well.”
