LumenOptix and CeeLite Technologies Merge

LumenOptix a manufacturer of specification grade LED retrofit products for downlights, and CeeLite Technologies a maker of large area light panels and linear LED retrofit products, have announced a strategic merger

LumenOptix LLC, Montgomeryville, Pa., a manufacturer of specification grade LED retrofit products for downlights, and CeeLite Technologies LLC, Villanova, Pa., a maker of large area light panels and linear LED retrofit products, have announced a strategic merger. The combined companies will operate under the name LumenOptix Inc., and will continue to concentrate on innovation and manufacturing of LED lighting products for the commercial and industrial markets.

LumenOptix also received a new round of funding by The Provco Group, which will allow for a significant increase in the company’s capabilities in product development and operations and allow for the addition of a regional sales management group to support the company’s independent agent salesforce throughout North America.

Bob Burdalski will lead LumenOptix as chief executive officer. Burdalski, a noted authority on lighting intellectual property, design and technology, has designed numerous lighting products for some of the industry’s most respected brands through his contract design and consulting firm, Bella Technologies Inc.

LumenOptix, which will continue to be based in Montgomeryville, just north of Philadelphia, has gained recognition for specification-grade, LED retrofit installations in leading retailers, hospitality groups, insurance companies, gas stations. Its offerings include tool-less, below the ceiling installation, glare-free visual comfort and energy efficiency.

Founded in 2011, LumenOptix’ products are manufactured and assembled in the US with representation by a nationwide lighting agent network.
