United Electric Supply Co., New Castle, Del., announced its purchase of County Electric Supply, Lansdale, Pa., and its subsidiaries ESCO Supply in Philadelphia and I/O Solutions & Controls in Elkins Park, Pa., and Fairlite Electric in Atco, N.J.
United said this acquisition “demonstrates the company’s commitment to delivering high value service to our current markets by integrating United’s capabilities with the talent of the County Electric sales team.”
County Electric, founded in 1955, serves commercial and industrial contractors, residential customers and many institutions throughout the Philadelphia and the tri-state area, according to the company’s website, which also highlights the company’s service capabilities in energy solutions, commercial lighting, automation & control, and switchgear.
United Electric is 100% employee-owned, with 21 branch locations in Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, and Northern Virginia.
