Standard Electric Supply’s Waltham branch is now home to the Energy Lab — the company’s first eco-friendly, interactive display center to create exposure for energy-efficient products and services that exist within the electrical marketplace today.

To demonstrate a wide variety of “go-green” offerings available, Standard  Electric Supply has partnered with the following manufacturers to present their newest initiatives inside the center: Philips Lighting, Cooper Lighting, Leviton, Lutron and Cooper Crouse-Hinds. Each manufacturer has a section in the room to display their featured products, along with educational take-away literature for the lab’s visitors. An official grand open house was held on Dec. 3 for the public to visit the Lab. Representatives for each of the manufacturing partners were in attendance along with the Standard Electric team behind the project.
