The Electrical Code Coalition (ECC), a group of organizations set up to promote uniform adoption of the National Electrical Code (NEC), has launched new website to facilitate adoption, application and enforcement of the latest edition of NFPA 70, the NEC, which sets the standard for safe electrical installations in the United States.

Through the website, the coalition offers a free "Adoption Support Kit," which can be used by promulgating agencies and local electrical safety advocates to support NEC adoption. Free read-only versions of the NEC and other National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes and standards can be accessed through the site. An interactive map tracks NEC adoption in all 50 states.
