Actuant to sell Gardner Bender and other brands in its Electrical segment

Actuant Corp., Milwaukee, plans to divest its Electrical segment, which serves the wholesale electrical retail do-it-yourself, marine, industrial OEM markets with products under the Gardner Bender, Marinco, Mastervolt, Acme and Turner Electric brand names. In 2012, this segment had sales of approximately $325 million . It employs approximately 1,000 and operates from six locations across the globe with its headquarters in Menomonee Falls, Wis. Details
