Electrical Equipment Co. to acquire Eck Supply’s Lynchburg branch

Electrical Equipment Co. (EECO), Raleigh, N.C., has reached an agreement to acquire the assets of the Lynchburg, Va.-based branch of Eck Supply (Eck Lynchburg). Eck Lynchburg is a Rockwell Automation distributor serving an adjacent geography to EECO in Virginia.

Electrical Equipment Co. (EECO), Raleigh, N.C., has reached an agreement to acquire the assets of the Lynchburg, Va.-based branch of Eck Supply (Eck Lynchburg). Eck Lynchburg is a Rockwell Automation distributor serving an adjacent geography to EECO in Virginia.


The ownership transition to EECO is scheduled to be completed by late-June and the Lynchburg location will operate as part of EECO’s expanded Virginia region serving industrial and commercial customers.


Founded in 1926, EECO serves end users’ automation, motor and electrical usage needs. EECO operates 14 locations from Virginia to Georgia. Eck Lynchburg is the exclusive Rockwell Automation distributor  in the Lynchburg market area.
