Klein Tools Opens Nominations for the 2016 Electrician of the Year

The grand prize winner will receive $2,500 a year in free Klein tools for 10 years, totaling $25,000 worth of hand tools.
Klein Tools, Lincolnshire, Ill., is accepting nominations for its annual Electrician of the Year award. The grand prize winner will receive $2,500 a year in free Klein tools for 10 years, totaling $25,000 worth of hand tools. Klein said it’s looking for electricians who exemplify professional achievement, safety excellence and community dedication. Entries, including self-nominations, will be accepted online at www.kleintools.com/eoy through Aug. 7, and all U.S.-based professional electricians are eligible.

In a new twist on the competition, Klein Tools will make fan voting part of the selection process. Fans will be able to vote on the grand prize winner after six regional winners are announced in mid-August. Online voting will follow shortly after the regional winners are announced.
