Graybar Sues Ex-CFO

Reports surfaced this week in several St. Louis newspapers that Graybar Electric Co., St. Louis, filed a lawsuit on April 1 against its former senior V.P. and CFO, Beatty D’Alessandro. According to an article in the St. Louis Business Journal, Graybar says D’Alessandro allegedly took proprietary company information with him to a new job as executive V.P. and CFO of Univar Inc., Redmond, Wash., a distributor of chemical products and services. According to the article, the lawsuit alleges that D’Alessandro “deleted 1,541 files of Graybar documents from a third-party storage site and more than 2,800 company documents from the desktop hard drive owned by Graybar.” More details on the lawsuit are available from the St. Louis Business Journal.
