Electricians, engineers, and facility managers evaluated a record number of entries for the 2004 EC&M Product of the Year competition in late January. The electrical professionals judged the 111 entries based on their ability to boost productivity, cut costs, and fill an unmet need in the market. The panel of 10 judges selected the winners in 21 different product categories, and EC&M announced the finalists at the Electric West show Feb. 2 in Las Vegas.
EC&M will publish the product photos and descriptions in its March issue, allow its readers to vote for their favorite product online at www.ecmweb.com, and announce the 2004 Product of the Year Platinum Award winner at the Electric Show in May in Indianapolis.
