Equity/EDN, Bluffton, S.C., presented the following awards at its 2009 Annual Meeting in Dallas, Texas, April 29 to May 1. John R. Wilson, recently retired from Osram Sylvania, Danvers, Mass., won Equity/EDN’s Lifetime Achievement Award. William Leavens, Cooper Crouse-Hinds, Syracuse, N.Y., won this year’s Equity/EDN Sales Champion Award.
Equity/EDN Vendor awards, which measure overall supplier performance and distributor satisfaction, were divided into five separate categories and distributed as follows: Merchandising Award — RAB Lighting and NSi Industries; Product Award — Bridgeport Fittings and Hubbell Electrical Products; Promotion Award — Ideal Industries and Milbank Manufacturing; Delivery Award — Southwire and Topaz Electric; and the Marketing Award — 3M Electrical and Arlington Industries.
Equity/EDN distributor members were also recognized for their contributions to the organization in terms of sales growth and vendor support. Those awarded with the Circle of Excellence award for demonstrating the highest overall sales growth through Equity/EDN and supporting the greatest number of Equity/EDN associated suppliers were B&S Electric Supply, Atlanta; Edison Equipment Co., Columbus, Ohio; Forest Hills Electrical Supply, Boston; FSG Lighting, Austin, Texas; Richmond Electric Supply, Richmond, Va.; Royal Electric Supply, Philadelphia; Warren Electric Supply, Queensbury, N.Y.; and Yale Electric Supply, Canton, Mass.
