Fairmont Supply Buys Florida’s Piping And Equipment Inc.

Fairmont Supply Co., a distributor of industrial MRO and safety supplies headquartered in Canonsburg, Pa., acquired Piping and Equipment Inc., Pensacola, Fla., a pipe, valve and fittings supplier with eight locations in Alabama, Florida, Louisiana and Texas. The company will continue to operate under the Piping and Equipment name and with the current management team, current employees and current locations. Gary J. Cartright will remain as company president.

Fairmont Supply Co. has locations in eight states: Illinois, Indiana, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, Utah, Wyoming and New Mexico. Fairmont is owned by Consol Energy, a multi-energy producer of coal, gas and electricity in the northeast.

Piping and Equipment and Fairmont are members of Affiliated Distributors.
