Trotman Appointed Director of Genlyte Group Inc.

William A. Trotman has been appointed director of Genlyte Group Inc., Louisville, Ky., and a member of the company’s audit and compensation committee. He has also been nominated for election to the board by the shareholders for a three-year term at the next annual meeting to be held on April 19, 2007. Trotman recently retired as chairman of Ferraz Shawmut, where he was employed for more than 34 years. He served as president and chief executive officer from 1991 to 2004.
