Electrical Marketing's Electrical Price Index (EPI) enjoyed a rather large -0.4% decline to 210.9 points in its total index in August. The Building Wire & Cable category led the way with a -3% monthly decline followed by Telephone equipment's -2.7% move. Year-over-year, the total index was up +2.5% over Aug. 2023. Pole-Line Hardware (-4.6%) and Power Wire & Cable (-3.2%) logged the largest YOY declines.
