Acuity Sees Q4 Net Sales up 22%

LED-based products sales rose 40% year-over-year, and represented about two-thirds of total sales.

Lighting manufacturer Acuity Brands, Atlanta, reported fiscal 2016 Q4 net sales of $925.5 million, up increased $166 million, or 22%, compared with the year-ago period. LED-based products sales rose 40% year-over-year, and represented about two-thirds of total sales. Share prices fell, though, as the results didn’t meet investors’ expectations.
