Harvard Engineering opens U.S. warehouse

UK-based LED driver and control manufacturer Harvard Engineering announced a new warehouse facility in New Jersey.

UK-based LED driver and control manufacturer Harvard Engineering announced a new warehouse facility in the United States. The company said its new warehouse in New Jersey will allow Harvard to provide delivery across North America and increase stocking levels across its full range of LED drivers, light engines and  control systems. Local buffer stock will also be held to support strategic customers who require just-in-time delivery.

“We decided to invest in a local warehouse because our customers need flexibility,” said Antony Corrie, vice president at Harvard Engineering Americas. “Our customer’s cash-flow is better invested in developing key products, rather than being tied up in excessive inventory levels due to poor industry lead-times. “Having a warehouse in the U.S. will strengthen our position to provide our customers with the products they want, when they want them.”

The new warehouse will be fully operational by the end of February 2014. All Harvard’s products are manufactured in the UK.
