Crescent Electric Supply Co. (East Dubuque, IL)
Penny Cotner was appointed president and CEO, effective Oct. 1. Cotner joins Crescent Electric Supply after a 12-year tenure at Infinite Electronics, a global supplier of electronic components, including the past seven years as CEO and member of the board.
Under her leadership, Infinite grew substantially through strategic acquisitions, operational scaling and disciplined execution. Her career spans more than two decades in executive leadership, sales transformation, engineering and global operations, with earlier roles at Arrow Electronics, a global distributor of electronic components and NASA’s International Space Station program.
Cotner holds an executive MBA from the University of California, Irvine, multiple executive education certificates from Harvard Business School, and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from California State University, Northridge.
Lumen/Sonepar (Brampton, ON)
Régis Chouinard was appointed president of Lumen. He has more than 30 years of experience in the electrical industry. “I know with his expertise and in-depth knowledge of the Lumen organization, Regis will be able to mobilize teams and strengthen our position in the market, while carrying the values that drive us forward,” said Serge Leblanc, Sonepar Canada president, in the press release.
Texcan/Sonepar Canada (Surrey, British Columbia)
Patricia Quiroga was promoted to VP of Sales effective Aug. 5. She has been with Texcan since 2018, most recently serving as VP of Marketing & Business Development. She brings extensive industry experience, including her previous role as VP of Distribution at Southwire. In her new position, she will lead Texcan’s sales strategy, vendor partnerships, and continue to oversee marketing, business development and product management.
Texcan, a division of Sonepar Canada, is wire and cable distributor. The company supports a wide range of industries including commercial, residential, industrial, utilities, infrastructure and energy sectors, delivering customized solutions and value-added services.
Electri-Flex Co. (Roselle, IL)
Brock Klein was promoted to VP of Sales & Marketing. In his new role, Klein will continue to lead strategic initiatives, strengthen customer partnerships and foster cross-departmental collaboration to ensure cohesive company growth. He joined Electri-Flex in 2017 as regional sales manager, bringing with him over a decade of experience in the electrical industry, including business development and product management.
Guarantee Electrical Co. (St. Louis, MO)
Grant Kane was appointed to the Guarantee Leadership Team (GLT) of this electrical contractor, responsible for setting and executing the vision and operational strategy for the organization.
A 19-year veteran of Guarantee, Kane currently serves as senior VP of Preconstruction. In that role, Kane will play a strategic leadership role in shaping project success from the start, ensuring every project is thoroughly planned, cost-effective, and built on a solid technical foundation before construction begins.
