LEDVANCE (Wilmington, MA)

Jonathan Lubeck (photo above) has been named CEO for the U.S. region. In addition to now overseeing all aspects of the U.S. business including marketing, product management and customer service, Lubeck will assume responsibility for all U.S. sales channels. A veteran of more than 30 years with Trade (Commercial & Industrial) sales organization at LEDVANCE, Lubeck has held a range of sales and marketing leadership and individual contributor positions. In North America, LEDVANCE offers a wide range of LEDVANCE and Sylvania LED luminaires for various applications, intelligent lighting products for smart homes and buildings, one of the largest LED lamp portfolios in the industry and traditional light sources.

In other news at LEDVANCE, Ming Li is taking on a new role as the head of product marketing in the United States and Canada, according to a LEDVANCE LinkedIn post. While previously a product group manager for the company in lamps, Mi picked up skills in product management in LED lamps, smart home and electronics.

Mayer Electric Supply/Rexel (Birmingham, AL)

Rexel USA Chief Executive Officer Brad Paulsen announced that Wes Smith, Mayer Electric Supply’s president and CEO, will serve as senior VP – chief strategy & growth officer for Rexel USA effective Jan. 1, 2023.

“Wes will be focused on opportunities to build and acquire the technology, services and capabilities we will need to be the best electrical distributor in the country,” said Paulsen in the press release. Smith said in the press release, “I am excited for this new challenge, and I look forward to focusing on the growth of Rexel USA. I have always enjoyed trying to look into the future and plan for what lies ahead, and that’s exactly what I’ll be doing as we move forward.”

Paulsen also announced that Mayer executive VP & chief sales officer Mike Kidney will assume the role of president of the Mayer banner effective Jan. 1, 2023. Kidney has served in several roles at Mayer over his 21-year tenure, most recently as regional VP and, since 2020, in the chief sales officer role.

Service Wire Co. (Houston)

Jeff Anderson has joined the Service Wire team as a strategic account manager in the Houston sales office. Anderson manage and grow key accounts while further developing the relationships with our customers. A graduate of Morehouse College and National University, Anderson has over six years of experience in local and national corporate account management.

WAGO (Germantown, WI)

Tyler Schara is the company’s new product manager for DIN rail-mount terminal blocks. Prior to WAGO, Tyler spent nearly eight years at Automated Logic as a field engineer/system specialist and field engineer supervisor.

Holophane/Acuity Brands (Granville, OH)

Vince Pearl was promoted to senior sales rep at the company, according to a LinkedIn post.

GRN Coastal (Southport, NC)

Colman Hendershot joined this executive recruitment firm for the electrical market. Prior to joining GRN Coastal, he worked with Capitalize Analytics, Dallas, in that company’s analytics consulting practice. GRN Coastal said Hendershot’s background will be a big asset to distributors and manufacturers looking to add data analytics and e-commerce talent to their teams.
