Miller moves up at ABB

ABB (Cary, NC): Deni Miller  (photo above) has been named senior vice president, Installation Product Sales, Electrification U.S. Miller will lead the Installation Products sales organization as it continues to focus on driving digitization and customer relations, along with distribution strategies. In addition to ABB's Installation Products sales, she will be responsible for the Retail sales business, including the Smart Buildings sales team within Electrification.

Miller most recently served as senior vice president, Marketing and Sales: Electrical Distribution and as the United States leader of ABB’s Encompass Women employee resource group (ERG). Miller and ABB were recently recognized for her work in driving equality at ABB by Catalyst, an advocacy group focusing on gender equity in the workplace. She joined ABB as part of the GE Industrial Systems acquisition in 2018 where she held various roles over the past 17 years within GE’s Critical Power, Instrument Transformer and Electrical Distribution businesses. Miller has a BS from the University of Florida. She will continue to be based in Chicago.

Dakota Supply Group (DSG) (Plymouth, MN): Aaron Samuelson joined DSG as corporate segment manager for the company’s utility business based out of DSG’s Fargo, ND, location. Samuelson will be responsible for DSG’s utility business’s growth and development across its entire footprint. He was recently director of business development for RESCO, the Middleton, WI-based utility specialist and also spent years in leadership positions for Border States Electric, Fargo, ND.

Kaman Distribution Group (Bloomfield, CT): C. Todd Boone is now vice president & general manager of the Kaman Distribution Group's Automation business. He most recently served as senior director of WESCO’s Applied Technology Group. He was also director of WESCO’s Assembly division. Boone has 30 years of experience in the automation industry. He also received a bachelor’s of science degree in electrical engineering technology from the University of Dayton.
