Omni Cable Hires Barrett for Biz Dev

Omni Cable (West Chester, PA): The company has hired Chip Barrett as director of Business Development. Barrett has over 20 years of industry experience in product management and business development, most recently at General Cable, where he worked for 12 years, the last four in Barcelona, Spain as director of Product Management, VP of Supply Chain, and VP/general manager of General Cable’s Industrial, Construction, and Specialty Business Unit before returning to the states in 2017. In his new role at Omni, Barrett’s focus will be on research and development of new products and expansion of existing products. Barrett received his BS in marketing from Miami University, Ohio, and his MBA from the University of Dayton, Ohio.
