Border States Electric names Peterson branch manager

Border States Electric said Shawn Peterson has been named branch manager for its Alexandria, Minn., location. Peterson began his career in February 1995 working for Minnesota Electric, where he held the positions of warehouse associate, counter sales associate and customer service representative.

He joined BSE in April 2007 when the company acquired Minnesota Electric. He held the position of customer service representative before being selected to participate in the company’s management trainee program in September 2007. Most recently he held the position of branch manager for the company’s Rochester, Minn., location.

Peterson and his wife, Heather, live in Alexandria, Minn., with their two children, Sydney and Braum.
